Raw recruits get their first taste of war and love at a Singapore military base in the 1950's. Phillipa, a beautiful "army brat" is the prime subject of sexual speculation among the young soldiers who are eager for conquest. Private Brigg makes a past at her at a dance. Brigg turns to Juicy Lucy, a Singapore dance hall girl, to learn the ropes of love-making while Phillipa, a reluctant virgin, reaches out to mature military man, Sergeant Driscoll. During a guerrilla raid, Phillipa and Brigg hide in the jungle, and finally in the comfort of each others' arms.
